“We Give Back” Winner — May 2025

As part of Wiglesworth-Rindom’s “We Give Back” Charity Referral Program, Karl and Enid Brot donated $500 to March of Dimes in honor of Madison Harper Ispass.

Since 1938, March of Dimes strives to lead the fight for mothers and babies. Their goal is to put an end to preventable maternal health risks and deaths, preventable preterm birth and infant deaths, and to close the health equity gap. Karl nominated March of Dimes in honor of Madison Harper Ispass. Their youngest daughter, Tara, went into premature labor at 25 weeks with identical twins in October of 2023. Tragically, one of twins, named Madison, suddenly died 10 days after birth. However, Lauren, her sister, is thriving, walking, and a blessing to the entire Brot family. Tara participated in the New York Marathon in honor of Madison and raised $10,000 dollars for the organization.

Karl is originally from Toronto and moved to Florida in 1980. He worked as a family doctor in Fort Lauderdale for over forty years. Karl is married to his wonderful wife, Enid, for forty-nine years. They were blessed with two amazing daughters, Marni and Tara, and four adorable grandchildren: Ruby, Ava, Ben, and Lauren. Karl and his wife now reside in Boca Raton. He enjoys playing golf, tennis, teaching at Florida Atlantic Univeristy, and synagogue life.
